Aleana Riley and Lady Shamrock are the youth partners of Silver Creek Arabians. Lady Shamrock joined Aleana at Silver Creek Arabians on March 17th 2006. Since that time Aleana and Lady Shamrock have learned to jump, pole bend, barrel race and compete in English and trail classes. The pair of them are very involved in 4-H and show at many youth shows in our area. This year Aleana will begin to show the pure bred black Arabian mare DJ Lady Vanessa in hunter classes. This year plans are to compete at the Iowa State Fair and continue competing in shows around our area. |

The gaming class is definitely some of the more enjoyable classes for Lady and Aleana. Generally the pair of them are usually champions or reserve against ponies, horses, youth or adult. There is nothing like whipping around the barrels for them. It takes no effort for Aleana to get Lady to get in the gate and running. Jumping came natural for both Aleana and Lady. Aleana started to train Lady to jump a few weeks after she had just gotten her. Both Lady and Aleana enjoy jumping very much. They will continue lessons this year with Brooke and hope to compete in many hunter jumper classes this year. Click here to view more pictures.

Before lady joined Aleana she was an Amish pony. This had gotten Lady used to cars, bridges, mail boxes, puddles. Everyday a young girl like Aleana would drive her to and from school. Sometimes she even had to help bring the cattle in from the field. Now Lady enjoys a life of treats, blankets and lots of fun classes and different obstacles. Click here to view more pictures.
